“Navigating the Digital Silk Road” | Invitation for an Interview Since its launch in January 2003, Customer Care & Management World (CCM World) magazine has been a flagship media outlet in China for customer management and digital operations, as well as a premier source of professional information in the sector throughout the Asia-Pacific region. We are committed to promoting academic exchange and business development in this field, and after over 20 years of hard work and contributions, we have earned widespread acclaim within the industry! In recent years, “going global” has become a buzzword in this field. Several Chinese companies have established operations in countries such as the Philippines and Malaysia, while others are exploring markets in Singapore, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Eastern Europe, and more. As a well-known third-party platform in China, CCM World has hosted visits and business matchmaking sessions with government agencies, industry associations, and leading enterprises from these countries and regions. We have come to understand that promoting the technical adoption and business development of the digital economy in countries along the Belt and Road is indeed a strategic and urgent priority for the industry. The advancement of artificial intelligence is driving rapid productivity growth, which in turn is promoting fundamental changes in the business landscape. Specifically, the new development model of the digital economy is causing a rapid expansion of business boundaries, extending value chains, diversifying divisions of labor, and accelerating a new wave of “globalization” under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) through digital trade. In light of this, we intend to establish the Belt and Road Digital Advancement Alliance (referred to as the Digital Silk Road Consortium, or DSRC). The DSRC aims to bring together government agencies, industry associations, and academic organizations from countries and regions along the Belt and Road, working collectively to promote the overseas business development of companies in the digital operations sector. This includes call centers, cross-border e-commerce, artificial intelligence, large language models, and more. The DSRC will strengthen communication, build consensus, establish rules, and provide platforms through comprehensive and multi-dimensional approaches. As a landmark event, the inaugural Digital Silk Road Forum will be held in Beijing in October 2024, and we look forward to your participation. Additionally, to further facilitate information exchange among institutions and experts in related fields, CCM World is launching a new column called “Navigating the Digital Silk Road.” This column will feature in-depth interviews conducted through written formats, video interactions, face-to-face meetings, and/or online communications. Our goal is to actively collect and circulate the latest developments and insights in these fields. Thank you for your attention, and we look forward to any thoughts or updates you have regarding “digital business going global.” Column Editor: Qian Yi, +86 17610031679, qianyi@ccmw.net |
