Since 2005, the Customer Care and Management World (CCMW) has hosted its annual gathering, consistently held during the third week of October in Beijing. The 2024 gathering marks a pivotal moment in our industry’s evolution, focusing on the theme: “Industry Evolution and the Rise of Digital Operations.” To address growing market interest, we are collaborating with the Digital Silk Road Consortium (DSRC) preparatory body to host the inaugural Digital Silk Road Forum alongside the CCMW annual gathering. In recent years, “going global” has become a prevalent term within our industry. Leading service providers, following their clients, have established operations in countries like the Philippines and Malaysia, with others exploring markets in Indonesia, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. As a renowned domestic platform in this sector, CCMW has engaged in consultations and hosted representatives from government agencies, industry associations, and leading companies from these countries. These interactions have highlighted the critical need to promote the digital economy and business development among the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries. Consequently, the Digital Economy Association of China (DEAC), a specialized sub-committee of the China Information Association, has initiated the formation of the Belt and Road Digital Advancement Alliance, also known as the Digital Silk Road Consortium (DSRC). Collaborating with relevant government departments, industry associations, and academic organizations from the BRI countries, the DSRC is dedicated to facilitating communication, building consensus, establishing rules, and providing platforms to enhance the development of international operations for enterprises related to the digital operations industry.
